The NQMBC Program, developed by the National Consortium of Breast Centers, offers a performance measurement system for breast centers to assess and compare the quality of care provided. Facilities track over 40 quality indicators, enabling them to evaluate their services against national benchmarks and peer institutions of similar size and scope.

“Achieving certified status through the NQMBC reflects our team’s unwavering focus on patient-centered care, advanced diagnostics and treatment excellence,” a Wellington Regional Medical Center representative says. “We are proud to be among the leading breast centers nationwide recognized for quality, innovation and commitment to our community.”

Established in 2005, the NQMBC Program has grown to include breast centers in 45 states, and its quality indicators have been validated through multiple peer-reviewed publications.
