Wellington Desi Association is hosting the fourth annual Diwali Celebration from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Hilton Palm Beach Majestic Ballroom in West Palm Beach.

This vibrant event celebrates the Hindu Festival of Lights with Bollywood-style performances, bingo, dancing to music from a DJ and Indian cuisine.

A Night of Togetherness

Diwali symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. The celebration aims to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where people from all walks of life can mark the joyous occasion. Last year’s Diwali Celebration drew more than 350 attendees.

“We started our nonprofit, Wellington Desi Association (We-Desi), to raise awareness about Indian culture and connect Indians and non-Indians alike to some of our dynamic traditions and customs,” association treasurer Minal Doshi said. “We are incredibly grateful to have supportive sponsors who share our vision and help make these events possible.”

The sponsors include Hilton Palm Beach PBI, Integrity Dental, Khanna House Studios, Masala Mantra, Sapneil Tutoring, Shree MRI and Sonia’s Realty.

Tickets will not be available at the door. They cost $50 and include appetizers and dinner. Children under 18 attend free with a paying adult. Additional children’s tickets are $25. Cash is preferred for bingo and the raffle.

For information on sponsorships opportunities or for tickets, contact Doshi at wellingtondesiassoc@gmail.com.
