Sushi by Boū brings speakeasy-style omakase to Lake Worth Beach

Sushi by Boū is set to open its latest location at Benny’s on the Beach-Oceanwalk in Lake Worth Beach on Feb. 7. 


Known for reimagining the omakase experience with a modern, speakeasy-inspired twist, Sushi by Boū now will have three locations in Palm Beach County, joining Boca Raton and PGA National Resort.  


The Ocean Boulevard outpost will offer a 14-seat omakase bar providing a curated sushi experience guided by expert chefs. The 12-course menu is $65; the 17-course upgrade is $125.

Signature dishes include:  

• Hamachi (yellowtail).

• Botan ebi (spotted prawn)  

• Ikura (salmon roe)  

• Hotate (scallop)  

• O-toro (fatty tuna) 

• Unagi (BBQ eel)  

• Wagyuni (surf-and-turf signature roll)  


Diners also can choose hand rolls, a la carte specialties, seasonal mochi ice cream, and creative cocktails such as the Yuzu Honey Bee, Shiso Southsider, Beach, Please and Ship Happens. 


The restaurant is at 10 S. Ocean Blvd. and is open seven days a week from 5 p.m. to midnight. Lunch service is planned. Visit sushibybou.com/locations/south-florida for details and reservations.


Each Sushi by Boū location is designed with its own aesthetic. The new beachfront edition exudes a laid-back yet stylish atmosphere, blending natural driftwood elements, ocean-inspired décor and metallic accents.

Sushi by Boū partners Erika London and chef David Bouhadana are Palm Beach County residents. 


"We are thrilled to be partnering with the iconic Benny’s on the Beach team and excited to bring Sushi by Boū to the Lake Worth Beach area for our first oceanfront omakase experience," London said.

London and Michael Sinensky founded Sushi by Boū alongside partner Richie Romero. Under hospitality group simplevenue, the brand has added 10 locations in the past two years and now has 20 U.S. restaurants, including New York, New Jersey, South Florida, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington and Puerto Rico. The next locations are planned for Nashville, Tennessee, and a Puerto Rico RV, the world’s first mobile omakase restaurant.
