Royal Palm Beach is now holding Rock-N-Fall Festival on Oct. 8 and 9

Royal Palm Beach Commons Park has postponed the Rock-N-Fall Festival, originally scheduled for this weekend, to Oct. 8 and 9 due to weather. Otherwise, all activities will continue as scheduled.


Saturday, Oct. 8, will consists of live music, food vendors and a diverse selection of beer and other alcohol. The event begins at 5 p.m. with Aerosmith tribute band Jaded. A Kiss tribute band, known for iconic face paint and flashy outfits, follows at 7:30 p.m.


The “fall” half of the festival runs from 1 to 9 p.m. Oct. 9 with fun activities including train rides, a corn maze, a petting zoo, a bounce house, a Ferris wheel, a fun slide, a carnival game trailer, live entertainment and the FunZone for kids.


Are you an artist? The pumpkin carving contest begins at 1 p.m. and is open to the first 100 people who sign up.


Do you and your pets love to dress up and get creative? Starting at 3 p.m., pets can show off their Halloween looks in the pet costume contest. The human costume contest follows at 4.



In addition to the Rock-N-Fall Festival, Commons Park hosts the Catskill Haunts Haunted House from 7 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29. Commons Park is at 11600 Poinciana Blvd. in Royal Palm Beach. Check out royalpalmbeach.com for more information.
