The Village of Royal Palm Beach is gearing up for its Rock-n-Fall Festival, promising two days full of music, entertainment and family-friendly fun Oct. 6 and 7 at Commons Park.
Friday night, when the festival is open from 5 to 10 p.m., is all about rock ’n’ roll. The Long Run, a tribute to The Eagles, hits the stage at 6, followed by a tribute to KISS at 8:15. Vendors are selling food and beverages, and free activities for kids include bounce houses, carnival games and a fun zone.
Saturday, open 1 to 9 p.m., is all about fall with a corn maze, a petting zoo, a pumpkin carving contest, train rides and costume contests. The pet costume contest begins at 2; the children’s contest is at 3. For entertainment, Royal Palm Beach native singer/songwriter Joe Noto performs at 5, followed by Beautiful Loser, a tribute to Bob Seger, at 7.
“Plan for traffic. Be patient,” Royal Palm Beach Mayor Fred Pinto says. “We encourage everyone to bring their own chairs and blankets for seating. We do offer a covered area with a number of picnic tables, but this area fills up fast.”
Admission and parking for Rock-n-Fall Festival are free.
