Palm Beach’s historic Palm House hotel reopened Nov. 27 after being closed for 17 years.
London-based L+R Hotels acquired the hotel at 160 Royal Palm Way in 2019 and carried out extensive renovations for the debut U.S. property of its Iconic Luxury Hotels collection.
Dating to the 1920s, the hotel’s design pays homage to Palm Beach’s distinctive aesthetic, featuring a pink façade reminiscent of South Florida sunsets and bougainvillea-adorned Mediterranean Revival architecture. The interiors, crafted by Muza Lab, blend nostalgia with modernity, showcasing installations such as a seashell work by a local artist and a hand-blown coral Murano glass chandelier.

Palm House offers 79 rooms, including 21 suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, arched doorways, and private terraces that invite natural light and ocean breezes. The rooms are adorned with a soft color palette of sea greens, sandy beiges and subtle gold accents, creating a serene and sophisticated atmosphere.
Amenities include the Palm Bar, which serves signature rum pineapple cocktails, and the Palm House Dining Room, offering traditional breakfast options and a Japanese dinner menu. The Sunset Pool Deck, surrounded by pink umbrellas and loungers, provides an exclusive environment for leisure.

The hotel provides complimentary beach setups, chauffeur services around Palm Beach and access to house vehicles.
The reopening of Palm House introduces a new era of luxury to Palm Beach, blending historical charm with contemporary elegance.
