The Palm Beach Photographic Centre has announced the winners of its annual Juried Exhibition, which is on display through Sept. 23 at the center’s headquarters in downtown West Palm Beach.
“This exhibit provides a glimpse into the diverse work and the unique perspectives of 50 different photographers, many of them members of the Palm Beach Photographic Centre,” says Fatima NeJame, the president and chief executive officer of the center.
Best in show went to Barbara Curcio for “School’s Out.” Curcio, from West Islip, New York, received a $1,000 prize.
First place “Little Ballerinas” by Tatiana Darash
First place went to Tatiana Darash of Lake Worth for “Little Ballerinas,” while Sefora Ambulodegui of Fort Meyers took second for “Key Largo.”
2nd place “Key Largo” by Sefora Ambulodegui
The juror was sports photographer Adam Stoltman, known for his work with The New York Times, The Sunday Times Magazine and Sports Illustrated.
