Ophthalmologist David Seamont joins Florida Eye Microsurgical Institute

Florida Eye Microsurgical Institute recently added Dr. David Seamont to its team of ophthalmologists.

Seamont is board-certified and specializes in refractive cataract surgery, medical and minimally invasive surgical glaucoma management, and the treatment of external diseases. He helps patients through advanced technology and tailored treatment plans.

Using state-of-the-art femtosecond laser technology and premium lenses, Seamont creates surgical plans for each patient’s unique needs.

Seamont sees patients at FEMI’s West Boynton Beach and Boynton Beach locations.

Seamont earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center, then returned to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for his surgical ophthalmology residency.
