The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department is marking World Ocean Day on June 8 with a land and waterway cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon at Coral Cove Park. The Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Beach Bucket Foundation, Blowing Rocks Preserve, Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area and Visit Palm Beach for the event.
Ocean Day participants of all ages are invited to join the cleanup through walking, kayaking or paddleboarding. All cleanup supplies will be provided, and those who wish to paddle down the waterway may bring their own kayak or paddleboard or reserve a discounted rental at www.visitpalmbeach.com.
