Miami-based restaurant Novecento, celebrated for its Argentinian-influenced cuisine and premium offerings, is set to open its first Palm Beach County location in downtown Delray Beach on Friday, Dec. 27, in the historic Falcon House building at 116 NE Sixth Ave., just north of Atlantic Avenue.
The Falcon House has undergone minor renovations while preserving its historic charm. The restaurant features 48 indoor seats, a 78-seat wrap-around, temperature-controlled patio, and indoor and outdoor bars. The decor reflects Novecento’s signature aesthetic, with custom-finished oak elements and red accents.
The menu stays true to Novecento’s classics. Handmade empanadas, ceviche, pulpo a la brasa and carpaccio are among its starters. Entrees include seafood, pasta and chicken dishes, while the grill highlights grass-fed Argentinian beef cuts such as filet mignon, skirt steak, New York strip, ribeye, sirloin and vacío. Exclusive to the Delray location, a raw bar features shrimp cocktail, wagyu carpaccio, salmon crudo and tuna aguachile.
Acquired in 2018 by SuViche Hospitality Group, Novecento has locations in Mary Brickell Village, Aventura, Doral, Key Biscayne and Hard Rock Stadium.
“Delray Beach is known globally for its vibrant dining and nightlife scene, and we’re thrilled to bring our concept to this charming community,” SuViche CEO Aliosha Stern said.
Novecento Delray will operate with limited hours through the holiday season. A grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 16.
Beginning in January, the restaurant will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with lunch, brunch, happy hour and dinner. Starting Jan. 10, tango performances will be offered on Fridays from 7 to 9 p.m.
