Royal Palm Beach’s Memorial Day ceremony is a family-friendly affair in the fitting setting of Veterans Park Amphitheater.
In an annual tradition, the event features a flag-raising ceremony, motivational presentations and live music by the Royal Palm Beach Community Band in a partnership with American Legion Post 367 in West Palm Beach. Free refreshments are available starting at 9 a.m.

“This celebration usually runs an hour to 90 minutes,” says Steve Poyner, the event and facility manager for the Village of Royal Palm Beach, “with the band playing military songs just below the amphitheater stage on the right-hand side. I’ve been here for 12 years, and this tradition started before that. It’s a way for the village to pay homage to our fallen soldiers.”
