Malka expands kosher Israeli realm to West Palm Beach

Malka, the esteemed kosher restaurant from Israeli celebrity chef Eyal Shani, has opened its fourth global location and first outside Tel Aviv and New York at 209 Sixth St. in West Palm Beach.

 

Shani is renowned for his innovative approach to Israeli cuisine. Malka is celebrated for its commitment to fresh, local ingredients and its adherence to kosher standards, offering a menu that reflects the rich culinary traditions of Israel while embracing contemporary flavors.

 

“Opening a kosher restaurant is the most natural thing in the world,” Shani says. “Every day I bow to the divine creation in my own way.”

The West Palm Beach location features an open-fire wood-burning grill, a centerpiece that enhances the preparation of signature dishes. Notable menu items include the Queen Malka schnitzel, a stuffed schnitzel with mashed potatoes, and the perfect pumpkin steak charred on the hibachi grill. The black bean masabacha comes with a crown of vegetables and a pile of green beans perfumed with olive oil, garlic and lemon zest.

 

The restaurant has some dishes exclusive to West Palm Beach to highlight local flavors.

 

The restaurant’s design combines chic simplicity with modern fine-dining elements. The interior boasts a variety of dining rooms and seating options, including areas overlooking the open kitchen. Outdoor spaces are adorned with trees and herbs, notably rosemary, which is used in the kitchen, enhancing the dining experience with fresh aromas.

 

Malka’s arrival contributes to West Palm Beach’s evolving gastronomic scene. Shani’s vision for Malka is to create a gathering place where people can connect over shared meals and memorable moments.
