Jupiter’s Loggerhead Marinelife Center this weekend will host TurtleFest 2025, an annual event that draws thousands of visitors to learn about ocean conservation and marine life, particularly the sea turtles the center rehabilitates and protects.
The festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with interactive exhibits that showcase the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems and encourage attendees to take an active role in preserving ocean health.
Local bands will provide live music. Hands-on activities will engage children and adults, including face painting and craft stations. Vendors will offer arts and crafts, eco-friendly products, and food in a marketplace emphasizing sustainability.
TurtleFest offers the chance to meet the dedicated staff and volunteers of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Attendees will gain insight into the center’s sea turtle rehabilitation efforts, including rescue, recovery and release programs. Educational presentations will delve into the challenges for marine life, such as pollution, habitat destruction and climate change.
Guided tours will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the center’s facilities. Interactive games will teach children about marine biodiversity and conservation.
