LagoonFest this weekend in West Palm Beach

Join thousands in West Palm Beach for LagoonFest, a free event celebrating the Lake Worth Lagoon, a 20-mile waterway stretching from North Palm Beach to Ocean Ridge. Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management, Discover the Palm Beaches and the Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative make this free event possible Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Walk along Flagler Drive from Datura to Fern in downtown West Palm Beach and immerse yourself in a series of informative wildlife presentations. Experts will reveal the intricate details of the local ecosystem, offering insights into the diverse flora and fauna inhabiting the lagoon.




 

Get hands-on with the lagoon through a variety of exciting activities.

 

Water activities:


●      Witness the interplay of land, water and wildlife through the Aqua Adventures Boat Tour.


●      Give back to the lagoon with a kayak cleanup.


●      Explore the lagoon while gaining insights into sailing and navigation on catamaran cruises.

 

Exhibitor booths:


●      Connect with experts in environmental conservation, sustainability and scientific research.


●      Discover innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies for protecting the environment.


●      Learn practical tips to make a difference in your own life.

 

Marine Industries Kids Zone:


●      Keep your children entertained and engaged with fun and educational activities.


●      Spark curiosity about the lagoon through interactive displays and hands-on experiments.
