South Florida folk/roots band Killbillies are performing at this week’s Clematis by Night, a free weekly outdoor concert series in downtown West Palm Beach.
Formed in 2010, Killbillies have influences of Americana, alt-country, and English and Irish folk and punk. Their heady mix of Celtic, rock, punk, bluegrass and country makes their music excitingly different. The band mixes an unusual instrumentation of banjo, upright bass, guitar and saxophone with foot drums and three-part vocal harmonies.
