Families across South Florida are preparing for Passover and Easter gatherings filled with tradition, celebration and food, and Doris Italian Market & Bakery is making holiday meal prep easy with grab-and-go dinner packages.
Passover begins at sundown Saturday, April 12, and Easter falls on Sunday, April 20. Orders for both are open now.
Passover Dinner Packages
• Brisket Dinner ($24.95 per person): Includes tender beef brisket, carrot and sweet potato tzimmes, and a choice of potato pancakes or roasted potatoes.
• Passover Dinner ($34.95 per person): A full-course holiday meal with matzo ball soup, chopped liver, tzimmes, green bean almondine, kugel, and a choice of beef brisket, turkey breast, grilled London broil or roasted chicken.
Traditional favorites such as matzo ball soup, whitefish salad, beet salad and chopped liver are also available a la carte, along with classic kosher-style desserts like coconut macaroons, rainbow cookies, sponge cake and rugalach.
Easter Dinner Packages
• Traditional Easter Dinner ($199.99; serves six to eight): Features a choice of brown-sugar-glazed spiral ham or leg of lamb roast with mint jelly, along with salad, green bean almondine, carrots, potatoes (mashed or Italian roasted) and dinner rolls.
• Supreme Easter Dinner ($299.99; serves 10 to 12): Includes two spiral hams or two lamb roasts or one of each, all the sides from the traditional package, and penne pasta with broccoli or marinara sauce.
Cooked rib roasts and beef tenderloin roasts are available for purchase separately.
