Bird Talk and Walk available all of August at Green Cay

Green Cay Nature Center

Palm Beach County’s newest nature center, Green Cay Nature Center, overlooks 100 acres of constructed wetland, providing educational opportunities and outdoor experiences. The center has a 1.5-mile elevated boardwalk with QR codes for a self-guided tour, as well as a lecture hall, a gift shop, live animals and an exhibit room.

The boardwalk is open from sunrise to sunset daily; the nature center is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

The Friends of Green Cay Nature Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to “raising money and supporting the Nature Center in its mission to promote an understanding and appreciation of the natural world to the public.” You can support the organization by becoming a member, adopting an animal or making a purchase in the gift shop. Any contributions are tax-deductible.
