Amid a tight labor market, 40 employers are expected to recruit at a career fair sponsored by Palm Beach State College from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Humanities & Technology Building, Room HT 103, on PBSC’s Boca Raton campus, 801 Palm Beach State College Drive.
The Fall 2023 Collegewide Career Fair is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP. Visit palmbeachstate.campuslabs.com/engage and search for “Career Fair.”
The private and public-sector employers recruiting for full- and part-time openings and internships include Acousti Engineering, Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, Bridgestone Americas, CVS Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Fastenal, Florida Crystals, HCA Healthcare, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, SBA Communications, Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, TRC Electronics, Tropical Shipping, and The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology.
“Local employers are telling us they have a tough time finding competent applicants, so we are happy that Palm Beach State can provide a venue to help them connect with quality job seekers,” says David Jenks, who manages PBSC’s Career Center.
